Good golly, my green beans refused to stop growing this year. Last week I picked as many beans as I could transport back to my mom's house. We spent the morning preparing the beans to eat this winter by washing, chopping, blanching, and packaging them up.
My favorite way to eat green beans this season involves a quick little jump into the skillet and a very delicious homemade peanut sauce.
